What We Offer

IOA does outreaching work, to convey information and efforts towards the understanding of Islam, distribute books and pamphlets, assist converts, support the deaf and to carry out other charitable work.

IOA Islamic Information Counter at its premises is open everyday except Fridays at
47, Lebuh Acheh, 10200 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang.

Sunday classes that can be arranged are :-

We used to have these tours before the onset of the dreadful Covid19 pandemic. Visitors and tourists would drop by our premises which is just a few metres away from the historical Masjid Melayu. Our volunteers would guide them to see the Masjid, look at its simple architecture and observe its serenity as well as observe the solemn rituals performed by Muslims. Muslims approach the Masjid, the house of God to worship, to seek solace and comfort in the One and Only Lord, to submit, to be in peace and to strive for the pleasure of Allah.

Hopefully the pandemic shall be over soon so that tours can be conducted once more for people to visit, see for themselves a Masjid and learn a bit about its features.
